You may want to know who unsubscribes from your mailings. Here are two ways to find out. Use 1 if you want to perform some action on the unsubscribers, like putting them in a group. Use 2 if you just want to glance at who unsubscribed, but don’t need to do anything with the list.
1) Search on all contacts who unsubscribed from a particular mailing.
- Go to Advanced Search.
- Open the Mailings section.
- Type the name of the mailing you’re interested in.
- Click “Unsubscribes“.
- Click Search.
Your list is everyone who unsubscribed from that particular mailing.
If you leave the mailing name field blank and get all unsubscribers from all mailing lists. You may limit to a date range if necessary.
From here, you can create a smart group of unsubscribes or perform any other action from the dropdown list.
2) View a mailing report.
- Go to Mailings > Scheduled and Sent Mailings. Find the mailing you’re interested in.
- Click Report in the right column.
In the report, you’ll see the Intended Deliveries and Successful Deliveries, Clicks, Opens, Unsubscribes, and other statistics. Click the word “Unsubscribes“. You’ll see the list of everyone who has unsubscribed from this list as a result of this mailing.
Note: this is different list than the recipients who opted out of all emails. That list is called Opt-outs.
